Priorities

Practical plans for Ward 21

Eight priorities shaped by conversations at doorsteps, community centres, and local businesses across Scarborough Centre.

Keep Property Taxes Affordable

Fight unnecessary property tax increases by finding efficiencies and reducing waste, while protecting the essential city services families rely on.

Safer Neighbourhoods

Work with residents, Toronto Police, community organizations, and local businesses to improve community safety, lighting, and crime prevention.

Better Roads and Infrastructure

Improve roads, sidewalks, parks, snow removal, and street lighting — and push City Hall for timely, reliable maintenance.

Affordable Housing

Support practical housing solutions that increase affordability while protecting existing neighbourhoods and ensuring responsible development.

Support Seniors

Expand community programming, improve accessibility, and strengthen services so aging residents can stay active, safe, and connected.

Stronger Local Economy

Support small businesses, encourage local investment, cut unnecessary red tape, and create more employment opportunities close to home.

Better Transit

Advocate for reliable public transit, improved TTC service, safer stations, and better connections across Scarborough.

Transparency and Accountability

Make sure residents know how their tax dollars are spent, with open communication and real community engagement.
