Meet Bahareh
A university graduate, community leader, and lifelong advocate dedicated to improving Scarborough Centre.
Bahareh Barahmand has spent years showing up for her neighbours — and she's running to bring that same practical, hands-on approach to Toronto City Hall.
She serves as Director of Industry Relations at North Skills Trade Academy and Director of Community Relations for Connect4Life, a national disability charity. She is also a Board Member at Sisters Community Centre, where she champions accessibility, inclusion, workforce development, and stronger communities.
Through years of grassroots volunteer work — particularly with seniors and community organizations — Bahareh has developed a practical understanding of the challenges residents face every day, from transit gaps to the rising cost of living.
As a mother, wife, and active volunteer, she believes local government should listen first, spend responsibly, and deliver real results for families, seniors, youth, and local businesses.
Bahareh is committed to bringing transparent leadership, practical solutions, and a strong voice to Toronto City Council for Ward 21.
